— Una introducció
En un món massificat amb l’accès a l’informació, tinc la sensació que ens hi acabem perdent. Almenys, de tots aquells tresors que sí existeixen a internet. Com molts, com a restauradora d’escultura policromada sobre fusta, he anat guardant enllaços al llarg dels anys.
Fa poc mentre els revisava, vaig pensar que potser seria bona idea compartir-los, simplement pel plaer de fer-ho. Així que aquí estem, amb aquesta newsletter quinzenal en català i anglès (durant un any). No és perfecte i no preten ser-ho, però com a fan de les newsletters i dels (quasi extingits) blogs, crec que seria xulo facilitar un petit espai de compartir en un context sense anuncis i més personal per animar els divendres. Perquè realment hi ha recursos mooolt xulos a les xarxes i mereixen ser reconeguts. Oh i algunes aclaracions, sempre tant necessàries:
Els comentaris són benvinguts sempre que portin bones vibracions. L’amabilitat és obligatòria.
Sóc molt conscient que el contingut d’aquesta newsletter està principalment centrada en la escultura policromada europea medieval-barroca. Per tant, exclou moltes obres igualment importants i boniques d’altres països i períodes que també són escultures de fusta policromades. Potser hauria d’haver canviat el nom de la newsletter però 1. ja he excedit el límit del títol (ah!) 2. la majoria de publicacions que he guardat al llarg dels anys eren majoritàriament en aquest (el meu) àmbit d’interés. Evidentment són benvingudes recomanacions d’altres enllaços interessants a compartir en un futur.
La gramàtica i sintaxis poden no ser perfectes i no passa res. És només una newsletter feta per diversió, no pas un doctorat :)

In a world massified with access to information, I have the feeling that we get lost in it. At least to those gems around the nets. Like many, as a polychromed wooden conservator, I bookmarked so many over the years.
While reviewing them not far ago I thought that maybe would be nice to share them, just for the fun of it. So here we are, with this one-year by-monthly short newsletter in Catalan and English. It is not perfect and does not intend to, but as a fan of newsletters and the (almost extinguished) blogs, I thought that would be nice to provide a source of sharing in a non-ad and more personal note to cheer your Fridays. Because there are great resources out there and they deserve to be recalled. Oh and some disclaimers that are always so necessary:
Comments are allowed, as long are they have good vibes. Kindness is a must.
I’m very aware that the content of this newsletter is mainly focused on European medieval-baroque polychromed wooden sculptures. Therefore, It excludes many beautiful and equally important artworks from other countries and periods that are also polychromed wooden sculptures. I should perhaps have renamed the title of the newsletter, but 1. I already exceeded the title limits (ha!) 2. Most of the publications I have saved over the years were mainly on this (my) area of interest. Please feel welcome to point out other interesting resources that can be added in the future.
As I said, grammar and spelling may not be perfect. It’s just a fun newsletter, not a PhD. :)
